Full Time Officer - Amber Gowin

I am an employee of Openreach and in the Service Delivery side of the business.

I have been a member of the union since joining Openreach nearly 6 years ago.

I am Assistant Secretary and Women’s Officer in the newly formed branch.

I have recently been elected to the BT Digital and Networks National Team so although this keeps me busy I am always willing to help others and stand up for ALL members !

Bit about me to know me on a personal level – 

I am obsessed with Football so always up for a discussion/debate on all things football etc. 

I am a season ticket holder at Fratton Park and have been for over 25 years. Yes, I enjoy the banter being a Pompey fan brings! 

I am from North London so also have a soft spot for Arsenal. 

I love exploring the outdoors with my dog Vinnie and I also love boxing – I find it all helps with mental and physical health.

I am a strong believer in showing Gratitude so I am very grateful for my wonderful family and friends.

I’m also grateful for my wonderful colleagues whom I now class as good friends also, for where we spend most of our days it’s important to create positive working relationships.
